14,000 Fall Chinook Smolt Released

This year’s fall Chinook smolt (14,000) were released on Thursday, October 13th. The fish were very healthy and had grown to 7 and 8 inches during their acclimation period. This begins their 3 to 4- year ocean feeding adventure before returning to the acclimation site as adult salmon.
