Joshua Heckathorn sentenced for Killing 15,000 Pre-Smolt

FYI … Joshua Heckathorn, the fellow who killed over 15,000 of our pre-smolt by breaking into the hatchery and dumping a bottle of bleach in their rearing tank was handed the following sentence for his actions:
1. 30 days in jail
2. Ordered to pay $15,000.00 in restitution
3. Have no contact with any fish hatchery
5. not consume any intoxicants
6. and Fishing license revoked for 3 years.
In all Mr. Heckathorn was convicted of 8 charges
His actions destroyed hundreds of man hours of work and denied Winchester Bay salmon anglers the opportunity to harvest an estimated three to four hundred adult Chinook salmon in 3 to 4 years.
