The brood stock trap has been placed to collect this year’s brood fall Chinook salmon. We trap fish at this location and Smith River if needed. We are allowed up to 65 pair in order to meet the number of eggs needed to raise 100,000 pre-smolt and 70,000 smolt. Pre-smolt are acclimated and released in the late spring, smolt are released during early fall.
